Shape:
Spelling: ਫ਼ਫ਼ਾ
Sound: 'f' as the 'f' in the word 'fare' when you say it out aloud.
Type: Consonant

Tongue: Kept out of the way.
Soft Palette: Blocking your nose
Lips: apart, almost as though you were going to say the letter 'p'.

Confusion: ਛ ਙ ਫ ਢ Remember the paer bindi - ਫ਼ ਫ
Reading: ਛ, ਙ, ਫ and ਢ all have subtle differences but you will soon get to know them with practice.
Writing: ਫ and ਛ can be confused but remember that there is only one loop at the bottom and that it is drawn the other way around.
