Spelling: ਫੱਫਾ
Sound: 'ph' as the 'ph' in the word 'graph' when you say it out aloud.
Type: Consonant

Mouth: Make a 'p' shape with your mouth but with your lips apart. Note that this is not the same as putting your lower lip up to your upper teeth as you would to make an 'f' sound.
Tongue: Kept out of the way.
Soft Palette: Blocking your nose
Lips: apart, almost as though you were going to say the letter 'p'.
Vocal Chords: Not used
Aspirated: Yes

Confusion: ਛ ਙ ਫ ਟ ਢ
Reading: ਛ, ਙ, ਫ ਟ and ਢ all have subtle differences but you will soon get to know them with practice.
Writing: ਫ and ਛ can be confused but remember that there is only one loop at the bottom and that it is drawn the other way around.
