Shape:
Spelling: ਨੱਨਾ
Sound: 'n' as the 'n' in the word 'name' when you say it out aloud although the tongue is further forward so that it touches the tips of your teeth.
Type: Consonant

Mouth: Make an 'n' shape with your tongue but instead of the front of your tongue touching the tooth ridge, make the tip of your tongue touch the tips of your teeth, making a seal.
Tongue: Make the tip of your tongue touch the tips of your teeth.
Soft Palette: Allowing air to pass into your nose

Reading: There are three letters like this that can be confused:
ਠ (Thatthaa) - connected at the bottom;
ਨ (Nannaa) - open at the bottom with one bar at the top; and,
ਲ (Lallaa) - Open with two bars at the top;
