ਇ ਕਿ - ਸਿਹਾਰੀ - Sihari.

Name: Sihari
Shape: ਇ ਕਿ
Spelling: ਸਿਹਾਰੀ
Drawing: ਇ This is Eerdee with a sihari. The sihari appears on the left of the character instead of the right or just above or below it. This can be confusing when you start off because when you read it, you need to remember that it sounds after the letter and when you write it, you need to remember to give it some space. You can see in the animation on the right that an additional space is left before the carrier character is written.

ਕਿ When reading, the example on the left is 'ki', not 'ik'. Again, with writing, leave a space on the left so that you can write it in without having to cram it in there.

Sound: This one is not quite a short 'i'. It is roughly 80 per cent short 'i' (as in 'bit') and 20 per cent short 'e' as in 'bet', giving it a sort of 'eh'(ish) sound.
Duration: short
